On Saturday May, 3rd, Waterloo High School is going to host a one-of-a-kind track meet in Southern Illinois. We want to bring together some of the best runners in Illinois for a fun night full of music, announcing, swag, and personal best times!
*WINNERS get a chance to ring the All-Star Bell in front of the crowd after the race and receive a 1st place banner!
The meet will start off from 4pm-5pm with a young kids elementary portion to introduce area youth to the amazing sport of track and field. Events will include 3rd grade and under 800m and 4th-5th grade 1600m. These races are unlimited and do not need to be on the leaderboard to qualify.
The main portion of the meet will start at 5pm and include the junior high 1600m, freshman/sophomore 100m, varsity 100m, freshman/sophomore 1600m, varsity 800, varsity 1600, varsity 3200, and the varsity 4x400m relay to cap off the night under the lights!
Registered athletes in the Main races will be notified if they qualify on the evening of April 27th. Entry times from last season and this season will be accepted. An ongoing leaderboard of each event will be updated each week as the season progresses and can be found on the LEADERBOARD tab.
Parents and coaches will sign their athletes up on athletic.net. Information on how to register is on the registration tab. Cost is $30 cash or check made out to WHS on the day of the meet at the registration table.
Spectators are $5 for adults and $3 for kids
